I tested 11 different reverb tanks and narrowed it down to 7. You can hear these by changing the Left and Right values (A-G). All samples were recorded with a low cut and a high cut before the springs, shown here. Each tank saturates at a different point, so how hard you drive the input also changes the sound, which is harder to demonstrate here. The makeup gain was provided by 2 CAPI 312 preamps.
